I'm hormonal and irritated and feeling gross today. I've felt off all day and ended up sleeping on the couch for two hours. My kitchen is a mess and I have laundry everywhere. It's 9:30 and I don't see myself getting to bed any time soon. My remarkable powers of procrastination mandate me getting in to work early in the morning to complete a task I should have done before leaving work last week. cripes, it's been a day.
I need a vacation, a nice long kid free vacation where I don't have to clean or create anything. However, I have a remarkable amount of stuff to do for the next month and a half. I made a list and then I cried.
April 15-17: Classes and Cake and prep for flea market.
April 22-24: Easter party at my house
April 29-30: Flea Market and Bake Sale
May 6-8: Mud Run and Mother's day
May 13-14: Clear out Mom's basement
May 20-22: Prepare and plant seedlings in garden.
May 27-29: Moving Mom into her new house.
gah! that's a lot of shit to do. June had better be one helluva relaxing month or I may go round the bend. Oh, wait, that's right, it'll start being stupid hot in june...damn. Well maybe there will be a silver lining to this cloud of bullshit. I might just be too busy to eat anything.
I'll try to keep it togther, but if one day you open the blog and there is a post with only numbers and the words pumpernickle, please use facebook to contact my husband or mother and tell them I need to be commited. :0)
Missives from a harried momma about loving my babies and the pledge to revisit their shenanigans on them when they are grown with littles of their own.

Happy Birthday Roo-tabega
Three years ago today my life was made remarkably sweeter by the addition of this.
Reagan Louise Moellering was born at 1:20 in the afternoon on April 9th, 2008.
The first thing she did after she cleared the hatch was snort, loud!
We all laughed like crazy and she hasn't stopped making me giggle in three years.
She loves to sing and enjoys getting "big snuggles." To my baby a big snuggle involves stopping what you are doing to wrap her in a blanket and sit on the couch giving her kisses and nuzzling her face.
She likes eating "o-gurt" and really enjoys having "chokie-milk" before bed at night, after reading 14 stories and "teef" brushing of course.
The little roo has a way of lighting up a room and making herself the star of any show she happens to find herself in. When my breathtaking little blue eyed girl is older she is going break some hearts, but right now she just fills mine

Riding in Style
The ninja family has aquired a new vehicle. A mini-van... Yep, I got me a soccer mom mobile.

If I wasn't totally in love with the space, gas mileage, running engine and heated leather seats, I'd be weeping for my new level of uncoolness.
Come on, who am I kidding, I can be cool no matter what I'm driving. :0)
This weekend will be less crazy, I am making a cake and teaching classes, but no other insanity is planned. I'm going to go to the gym and run for a bit each day and between rain showers I'm going to spend some more time breaking in my boots for the mud run. I watch a video of some monkey bars from hell that I am going to have to try to navigate on this mud run and it gave me indigestion. I sincerely hope this is going to be as fun as I am making it out to be in my mind.
This weekend, probably Sunday night, I am also going to try to get my home office organized and rearranged. We are getting rid of some useless furniture and crap that has been sitting around and making the office more useful.
In spare room cleanup news, 3 more bags of trash have been transplanted to the dump and 2 broken kitchen chairs have been busted up and sent to the woodpile. I have begun to organize the Christmas stuff, getting rid of things we do not put out or like anymore and carefully sorting the important things. Things are shaping up. I feel another trip to the goodwill coming up as I continue the fleecing of useless crap. It feels so good to get it out of my house and have space for things that make me happy and enrich my life.

Grapefruit...
Is too damn much work. I love them, but damn why can't they be easier to eat. It's funny, I can't stand the skin on the segments of grapefruit but on oranges they are just fine. Weird.
I have another cake order this weekend and I'm drumming up business for my cookies. I made a few more yesterday and the day before, last night it was chocolate sugar cookies, so yummy. I'm buying the ingredients for some strawberry ones to make tonight or tomorrow. I keep baking and taking the cookies to work, I love to bake and need to get them out of my house so the temptation doesn't kill me.

My nephew could be born any day now, so hopefully I'll have some cute bebe pictures soon. If he's anything like my niece he'll be tiny and adorable. We hope not too tiny though.
The seedlings in our little indoor garden have started poking out of the soil. So far the Flax, Snapdragons, and a few squash pants have poked their little green heads out. I bet more would be showing except that we live in Missouri and one one sunny day I put the flats outside and all but one of them blew off the table and spilled all over the ground. I had to gather the cups and search for the seeds, buy some more and re=plant quite a bit. I've also moved the pepper flat to the stove top. I have a gas stove and read that pepper seeds germinate best at a higher temp so the flat is sitting in the middle of the stove top getting some warmth from the indirect warming of the pilot lights.
I'm going to be getting a tiller and making a space for our raised bed garden. We'll be using concrete blocks as the walls of the bed and I've found some recycled tire mulch to put around the beds to keep the weeds down. The electric company came and cut away some brush and trees along our fence so I'm going to use the tiller to bust up the hard ground under where they tilled then We are going to put in a strawberry patch, some pumpkins and watermelons and I'm going to put down some good grass seed to make our yard beautiful and green.
The munches are getting a combined gift for their birthday's this year, a swing set! With that, tricycles, roller skates and a garden, we are going to be outside a lot this summer. I'm so looking forward to it. I love being outdoors, I am going to have little tan babies.

It's Too Ucky
Booger just ran into the kitchen where I am cooking my dinner and grabbed a grape tomato. I thought she meant to play with it so I watched her closely. She looked at me, said "I'm going to eat this topato," took a huge bite and then spit it all over the floor! I was comical, like in a movie where someone eats a bug or something. Made me laugh till I damn near wet my pants.
She brought the battered tomato to me and said "Mommy, you eat this topato, it's too ucky for me."
This kid is freaking hilarious.

Cookie Pops, Birthdays and The Rock
A friend at work sent me a website link and asked if I could re-create the cookie pops there. I told her I had never tried it but that I would give it a try. This is the link to what she asked for and here is what I came up with.

Pretty Close, eh? After seeing it, I now have several more people interested in purchasing cookies from me. I have found a new way to decorate, it's pretty cool.
We had a party at Burger King on Saturday fro Booger's birthday. Her actual birthday is this Saturday, but they were already booked that day. She had a really good time. Mutti made a birthday cake that looked like a giant slice of Pizza and she made a little slice that said "Happy Birthday" on it. It turned out so cute.

Pumpkin really liked it!!!!

Booger received a remarkable number of gifts and she loved them all. This was from my Brother and Sister in Law, they know Booger loves pushing her babies around in shopping carts!

Jeeves had his dudes over last night for Wrestlemania and I made chili and salsa. I was not strong, but since I hadn't really eaten all day, I bet the calorie damage was not severe. I need to get better about staying on plan when life is crazy. I'd love to say I got my list completed this weekend however the intense busy-ness caused the workouts to be sidelined. *sigh* Oh Well, back on track this week, starting with my two hour workout tonight. Looking forward to a good burn.
