This is my favorite song, and I sing it to my girls all the time. Last night, Booger climbed up into my lap and said, "Mommy, I'm going to sing for you, how about the sunshime song?" So my baby sang me the sunshine song, and it made my heart feel so full that I cried big happy mommy tears. I think Booger needs a new name, I think maybe she should be Sunshine.

You are my sunshine is the song I first sang to my son when he was born. And I haven't stopped. I bawled my eyes out the first time he sang it to me.
He loves to request "sunshine" and only mama can sing it.
